Bisley Scoring

Scoring & Targets

Scoring: All targets will be inwardly scored. This means if the hole created by the bullet (as defined by a guage) touches the line of a higher scoring ring then the higher value is used.

Each target will be displayed prior to shooting. Please ensure you are familar with the scoring areas and any restrictions regarding that target. The profile targets generally have a restriction of having to hit within the profiled area i.e. hitting white space ourside the profile but within a scoring ring does not count.

Lost or extra shots: If there are cross shots  then the NSRA rules apply.

5.3.1.2 A shooter firing in error on the competition card of another competitor shall be credited the full value of the shot or shots less a penalty of two points for each shot so fired.
5.3.1.3 A shooter firing more than the required number of shots on his competition card shall be credited with the score of the appropriate number of shots having the lowest value less a penalty of one point for each shot in excess.
5.3.1.4 A shooter firing on the card of another competitor and then firing at his own card more than the balance of shots allowed shall be credited with the score of the appropriate number of shots having the lowest value less a penalty of one point for each shot fired in excess of the required number and an additional penalty of two points for every shot fired on the card of the other competitor.

Disagreements: If you disagree with a score please in the first case speak to the person allocated the task of scoring. If you are still in disagreement then consultation with the CRO should be sort who’s rulling will be final.
